Overview
Atlas Pacific Security is currently hiring professional security officers for overnight shifts for on-site security. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure worksite. This role requires a proactive approach. This is a temporary position that may lead to a regular position. You are required to have your DPSST before starting.
The Position:
This is a temporary contract that may lead to permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and attitude. The starting wage range is $23-$25 per hour and depends on experience and training. There are armed and unarmed opportunities for this role. The contract is expected to run for 1-2 months.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively patrol the assigned worksite.
- Enforce rules and regulations set by Atlas Pacific Security and the Client
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide detailed reports of incidents as required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Oregon DPSST
- Current Driver’s License with a clean record
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills:
Strong conflict management with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
