Job Purpose
Perform general janitorial duties through the plant to assist in maintaining a clean work area.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Performs general janitorial duties throughout the plant which includes lunchrooms, offices, bathrooms, shower stalls, , main entrance, conference room and hallways.
Washes office, lunchroom, hallway floors, and any other areas as required.
Replenishes supplies for washrooms and lunchrooms when required with items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.
Cleans appliances such as coffee machines, microwaves, and defrosts refrigerators when necessary.
Pick up supplies from warehouse.
Cleans drains and unplugs toilets when required.
Seals and waxes new floors when required.
Washes walls and inside windows when time permits.
Vacuums area rugs.
Completes some recycling tasks

Good problem solving ability
Time management skills
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
Demonstrated mechanical ability
Willing to be trained to perform various operations positions
Willing to work various shifts as scheduled on a weekly basis and be available for additional work as the need arises.
Interested in progressing into full time operations positions and work up through the lines of progression as openings arise.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 Years’ Janitorial experience

$30.60 / hour
