“`Duties“`
– Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment
– Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues
– Install and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
– Set up and program telephone systems and voicemail
– Install and terminate low voltage wiring for data and voice communications
– Operate bucket trucks or forklifts to access elevated equipment or work areas
– Perform electrical work related to telecommunications systems

– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience as a telecommunications technician or in a related field
– Knowledge of WAN/LAN network infrastructure and protocols
– Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Note: This job may require occasional travel to client sites. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Travel will be compensated and extra allowance given.
