Assister l’équipe de contrôle de la qualité dans la réception de nombreuses tâches ; inspection des matières premières, retravaux de produits, étiquetage, inspection des BPF. Être un remplaçant pour les techniciens du contrôle de la qualité (réception et production) au besoin.
Tâches et responsabilités
Inspecter les matières premières à la réception pour s’assurer qu’elles sont exemptes de défauts et produites selon les spécifications internes et les directives externes.
Transporter les matières premières de l’entrepôt à la salle d’inspection pour l’inspection et vice versa.
Préparer et prendre des échantillons pour l’analyse en laboratoire.
Effectuer les différents tests de contrôle de la qualité sur les matières premières.
Effectuer une évaluation sensorielle aléatoire des produits stockés.
Responsable de l’inspection des installations (inspection du bâtiment) sur une fréquence mensuelle.
Effectuer une inspection des BPF de l’entrepôt.
Aider dans les retravaux de produits et l’étiquetage.
Aider dans le suivi des non-conformités.
Remplaçant des autres techniciens du contrôle de la qualité (production et réception).
Effectuer toutes les autres tâches liées au contrôle de la qualité à la demande du superviseur immédiat.

The job purpose is to assist the quality control team in many duties, which include: inspection of raw materials, product reworks, labeling and GMP inspection, participation in annual audits and enforce good manufacturing practices inspections upon receiving products. We also ask the incumbent of this position to be a backup for the quality control technicians (receiving and production) if needed.
Duties and responsibilities
Inspect raw materials on receiving to ensure that they are free of defects and produced according to internal specifications and external guidelines.
Transport the raw materials from warehouse to the inspection room for inspection and vice versa.
Prepare and take samples for laboratory analysis.
Carry out various quality control tests on raw materials.
Carry out random sensory evaluation on stored products.
Responsible to inspect the facility (building inspection) based on a monthly frequency
Perform warehouse GMP inspection.
Assist in product reworks and labelling.
Assist in non-conformities follow up
Back-up to the other QC Technicians (Production and receiving).
Carry out all other tasks related to quality control at the request of the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
DEC or AEC in food processing or a relevant field
Experience of 1 year in a relevant position acquired in the Food industry.
Proficient in French and English (oral, written).
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask, to work individually and within a team.
Day Shift Monday to Friday-7h30 to 15h30(recommended) or 08h00 to 16h00
Physical requirements: being able to walk up/down the stairs, lift products weighing between 5 and 22.5 kg on a regular basis.
