The Opportunity

Leavitt Industrial Group is looking for a Technical Product Director, Digital Platform to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Technical Product Director, you will define the digital platform vision and roadmap, lead delivery and operations, and ensure reliability, security, scalability and user experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Technical Product Director your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritizing work based on customer needs and measurable business outcomes
  • Applying proven B2B patterns across process, data, and experience design using experienced B2B partners
  • Favoring off-the-shelf and SaaS solutions with a modular, microservices-based design, minimizing customizations
  • Meeting enterprise security, privacy, performance, and resiliency standards with standardized APIs, events, and data contracts
  • Using Product Information Management (PIM) as the authoritative source for complex product data to power search, navigation, and merchandising
  • Delivering cohesive, end-to-end digital journeys with department-aware experiences across web and mobile
  • Governing and consolidating data to enable analytics and approved AI use cases, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), for personalization and engagement
  • Continuously iterating and improving the platform using KPIs and OKRs
  • Designing the platform to scale for growth, acquisitions, and new regions without re-architecture
  • Managing transparent Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), benefits realization, licensing, and compliance
  • Building internal skills, processes, and tooling to operate and evolve the platform independently

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • 8+ years in digital platform product ownership and delivery, including enterprise integration and modernization, with demonstrated team leadership and executive stakeholder engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • TOGAF, SAFe, PMP, PMI-ACP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Dynamics certifications are assets
  • Expertise in platform development, operations, optimization, and UX principles
  • Experience building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Experience with long-term platform strategy, opportunity identification, and prioritization
  • Ability to turn data and insights into action
  • Executive-ready communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with CMS, e-commerce, CRM, BI, Microsoft Azure, web and mobile platforms, microservices, CIAM, API management, data modeling, and approved AI solutions

The base pay range for this role is: $150,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is a hybrid role based out of Coquitlam, British Columbia.
