Responsibilities:

Support the sales team with developing proposals, quotes and presentations to secure new business tailored to customers’ needs.

Manage the

communication

to all customers in the portfolio regarding service, price, package and product changes

Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and stakeholders

Prospecting, generating and qualifying leads for the company

Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to exceed targets

Develop and implement the strategic and tactical plan for the portfolio

Develop and maintain a SWOT analysis of all key markets including industry trends, market activity and competitor products

Participate in pricing decisions to maximize our company position

Share relevant market intelligence with all internal stakeholders

Take the lead on small, non-complex proposals and bids Identify products for new market segments and present them as they become available

Work with technical team members to ensure that we are meeting customers’ needs

Work with marketing to execute campaigns

Answer phones, take orders from customers, process orders in ERP system

Qualifications:

Inside sales experience in the industrial sector, heavy equipment, chemicals, commercial fleet, agriculture, or similar Business to Business environment is desired

Post-secondary

education

in a related background, such as Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering Experience in a laboratory environment conducting standard routine tests and analysis on lubricants, oils and grease is an asset

Ability to

work with technical and oil analysis data and the ability to deduce clear and valuable information from it.

Strong verbal and written

communication skills

, including effective listening skills and ability to communicate accurately and effectively over the phone, through email and other business correspondence

Ability to

retain detailed information, troubleshoot and solve problems

Accuracy and strict

attention to detail

are critical

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, CRM Skills (Microsoft Dynamics or other)

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to

work under pressure and deliver on deadlines

Be a team player who is willing to adapt to the changing priorities of the business
