Full job description
Seeking a veterinary technician assistant to work in a high-paced general practice and emergency veterinary clinic.
Responsibilities:
– Assisting with handling/restraining of animals for exams & procedures.
– Work with the team to keep the clinic clean & organized.
– Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes & feeding and watering animals.
– Properly positioning & handling animals for x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, IV catheter placement etc.
– Restocking supplies & putting supplies orders away.
Requirements:
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
– Ability to work a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation in the evenings.
– Shift times are 3pm-1am, 4pm-2am, and 9pm-7am.

Pay: $19.17 per hour
