About CipherX Entertainment CipherX Entertainment is an indoor entertainment facility offering escape rooms, free-roam VR, X-Grid, rage room, splatter room, and group experiences. We host birthdays, corporate events, date nights, school groups, and walk-in customers. Our goal is to give every guest a fun, safe, and memorable experience. Position Overview We are looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic team members to join our Coquitlam location. As a Team Member / Game Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, explaining activities, running games, helping with birthday parties and events, cleaning rooms, and making sure customers have an excellent experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities – Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner – Check guests in for bookings and walk-ins – Explain rules, safety instructions, and game procedures – Run escape rooms, VR sessions, X-Grid games, rage room, and splatter room experiences – Monitor guests during activities to ensure safety and quality service – Reset escape rooms and activity areas after each booking – Assist with birthday parties, group events, and private bookings – Keep party rooms, lobby, washrooms, and activity areas clean and organized – Answer customer questions in person and over the phone – Help process payments, waivers, and bookings when needed – Report any maintenance, safety, or customer service issues to management – Support team members during busy times and special events Qualifications – Strong customer service skills – Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with customers – Reliable and punctual – Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays – Comfortable working with kids, families, and large groups – Able to follow instructions and work independently – Basic computer skills are an asset – Previous experience in customer service, entertainment, hospitality, or events is an asset but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is positive, hardworking, and enjoys creating fun experiences for guests. They can stay calm during busy periods, communicate clearly, and take pride in keeping the facility clean and organized.
