Scope of Positions: Port Colborne Food Trailer
We are building our team to serve up some happiness in Port Colborne this summer, starting May and ending in Sept.
This is not an entry level position
A Team Leader is part of the core leadership of our staff team. Accountable to the Manager and store owners, our Team Leader will work independently and help oversee the team of staff. They are our primary contact for operational needs of the trailers. It is an active, hands-on leadership role, requiring great communication skills and the ability to problem solve. It is an hourly position and wage will be set with skills, abilities and previous experience. This is a seasonal position with potential opportunity to move into our storefront in St. Catharines throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare our core products daily.
- Collaborate with leadership in leading the food trailer team.
- Organize and lead the day-to-day operation of the trailer while supporting our staff.
- Demonstrate superior customer service, serving as a role model for the team.
- Train, motivate, coach, and increase the areas of competencies for our team of employees.
- Be competent and efficient in all areas of operation while still maintaining product quality and hygiene standards.
- Manage the daily inventory of all products in the trailer to ensure a full selection of ice cream flavours, mixins, and packaging are available for sale or use at all times – while maintaining or exceeding expectations for production/inventory cost targets.
- Be accountable for all the assets of the business including cash, non-cash tender, inventory, and equipment.
- Maintain a structured cleaning and maintenance program for the trailer.
- Follow employment and Health & Safety standards provided by our governing bodies.
