As the manager of the teams dedicated to the AWS platform, you will play a key role in the success of our projects. You will lead a talented team, ensuring that it achieves its performance objectives on time and within budget.

In addition to team management, your AWS expertise and experience with Dev Ops practices will enable you to contribute significantly to the team’s technical deliverables. You will be responsible for your team’s performance, motivation, and development, and you will actively contribute to improving our processes and working methods.

Your leadership will inspire the team to achieve a high level of performance, and you will be able to exercise this position in a positive and collaborative work environment.

Technical contribution

  • Participate in the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our platform in accordance with current norms and standards.
  • Ensure that peer reviews are conducted in accordance with company standards.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies, best practices, and market trends.
  • Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of the team’s work.
  • Help establish a culture of continuous improvement.

Supervision

  • Supervise, motivate, and support team members.
  • Create a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to harmonious working relationships.
  • Evaluate team members’ performance and identify their training and development needs.
  • Participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees.
  • Provide adequate supervision and ensure ongoing training.
  • Promote transparent communication and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure timely participation of collaborators.
  • Ensure that the team has all the resources it needs to function properly.
  • Set individual and collective goals for the team.
  • Implement strategies to achieve performance objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams to solve problems and improve the customer experience.

Project management and monitoring

  • Work with stakeholders to define objectives and priorities.
  • In collaboration with the director and technical manager, estimate workloads and plan activities.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks.
  • Ensure the quality of work and compliance with established standards and processes.
  • Ensure the team’s effectiveness and its contribution to the timely delivery of projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud platform management, including 2 years in an influential role requiring leadership (direct or indirect).
  • Experience in the financial sector (an asset).

Technical skills


* The working language is French. A perfect command of French (oral and written) is mandatory.

  • AWS certification, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a contributor.
  • Experience in infrastructure as code:
    Git, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Proficiency in IT tools:
    Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence.
  • Understanding of cloud solution architecture principles.
  • Experience in IT network management.
  • Experience in managed services infrastructure management.
  • Experience in supplier management.
  • Experience with agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) and knowledge of best development practices (unit testing, continuous integration).
