As a 1:1 KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing individualised support to a specific Key Stage 2 student. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic success, social development, and well-being of the student.

Salary Scale: £75-£100
Contract Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
As a 1:1 KS2 Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to implement tailored support strategies.
Provide one-on-one assistance to the designated student in class and during specific activities.
As a 1:1 KS2 Teaching Assistant you will adapt and modify learning materials to meet the student’s needs and abilities.
Monitor and record the student’s progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
As a 1:1 KS2 Teaching Assistant you will foster positive relationships with the student, promoting confidence and independence.
Collaborate with other professionals, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic needs of the student.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, particularly in a 1:1 capacity, is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methods or willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
