Full job description
Key Accountabilities:
Preparing wall surfaces
Ability to measure and cut materials to specific lengths, requiring basic math skills and accuracy
Sealing joints between plasterboards
Follow site safety procedures
Qualifications:
2-5+ years of relevant taping experience
A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Experience in Drywalling and Taping
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability multi-task and problem solve
Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize your work
General housekeeping and clean up
Working Conditions:
Physically demanding position
Standing for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 60lbs
Work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment
The hiring company is recruiting for taping technicians. We primarily work with residential new builds, single family homes, and apartment buildings; providing service to roughly 1800 houses a year. This position is based in Calgary, AB working. Hours of work fluctuate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $4,500.00 per month

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
