The Opportunity:
Our client, a well-established and growing organization in the manufacturing and distribution space, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in the GTA.
This is a highly visible role supporting hiring across Canada and the U.S., partnering closely with stakeholders across a broad range of functions. The successful candidate will operate as a true business partner, owning the full recruitment lifecycle while building strong internal relationships.
This role is best suited to a recruiter who thrives in a headhunting-driven environment, enjoys proactive sourcing, and is comfortable engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across a broad mix of roles including IT, engineering, operations, and sales
- Partner directly with senior stakeholders including Directors, VPs, and SVPs across Canada and the U.S.
- Conduct intake meetings, advise on hiring strategy, and manage the recruitment process end-to-end
- Proactively source and headhunt candidates using LinkedIn and other tools, alongside managing inbound applicants
- Build and maintain talent pipelines across multiple functional areas
- Leverage AI tools and ATS technology to support sourcing, screening, and process efficiency
- Manage a moderate requisition load (typically ~5–10 roles at a time across permanent and contract hiring)
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience while balancing multiple priorities
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
- 4–7+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a corporate/in-house environment
- Experience supporting a mix of functions (e.g., IT, engineering, operations, sales)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner at the Director/VP level and push back when needed
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take full ownership of your searches
- Strong sourcing capability with a clear track record of proactive headhunting
- High EQ, business acumen, and the ability to build credibility across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience using ATS platforms (JazzHR or similar) and exposure to AI-enabled recruiting tools is an asset
- Interest in evolving into a broader HR/business partner-style role over time is considered a strong asset
Compensation Range: $85,000 – $100,000
