Esri Canada has an

exciting

8-month co-op opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Assistant in the Human Resources team. The individual in this role will learn the foundations of Talent Acquisition and HR, and will contribute to the overall candidate experience by assisting with recruitment, screening, interview scheduling, and general HR projects.

Talent Acquisition Assistant (co-op) responsibilities include:

Assist with conducting full-cycle recruitment including drafting and editing job postings, posting jobs across multiple platforms, screening resumes, and coordinating candidate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring timely

communication

and a smooth interview process.

Source candidates, and evaluate job applicants based on job requirements, through an applicant tracking system, job boards, and social media channels such as Linked In.Assist the HR Team with monitoring the progress of background checks for prospective new hires.

Collaborate with language translation services to translate job postings.

Identify passive candidates using various recruitment platforms and contribute to developing a talent pipeline.

Perform other duties as required in support of the HR Team.

Specific skill requirements:

Currently enrolled in a University or College Human Resources Management or Business Administration program.

6-12 months of customer service experience dealing with clients over the phone, email and/or in-person.

Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Considered as assets for this position are the following:

Bilingual French/English This co-op term will be ideally from May – December 2024 from Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
