Job Summary:

IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our expanding IT team and work in a growing,

dynamic

, high-tech manufacturing company. As a System Administrator, you will help develop, maintain, and secure our global infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a flexible, driven, diligent worker that can analyze the environment both as a whole and in detail to provide necessary business systems and services to the organization that meet business objective and SLAs.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain system configuration, and troubleshooting documentation as needed.

Review all policies and procedures and ensure they are being adhered to Proactively troubleshoot and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and identify areas for continual improvement

Provide all level IT support for local and remote sites and be available to support business IT needs off-hours.

Lead vulnerably mitigation and scheduled system patching cycles.

Actively claim, triage, and resolve IT tickets and contribute to the teams overall SLA matrixes

Configure, install, hardware upgrade and review infrastructure systems to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes

Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices as needed

Participate in outage/incident bridge calls as needed

Hands on administrating infrastructure services including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, Server Deployment, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange and Office

365, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup, Solar Winds, Mobile Iron, Okta any other duties assigned by the manager.

Monitors and analyzes infrastructure systems and business applications for advanced notification of potential issues and identify and recommend proactive resolutions

Ensures infrastructure systems and applications are compliant to meet the highest levels of security and data integrity

Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for

problem resolution

Perform installation and migration of systems and services at branch locations

Follow assigned project tasks and commit to timelines

Provide weekly status update on all assigned projects tasks
