Aquaturbo is a professional swim academy dedicated to both competitive swimmer development and beginner swim education. We currently operate in Vancouver West and Richmond, with year-round access to 30°C indoor heated pools. Our goal is to provide high-quality, structured swim instruction for students while creating a stable, comfortable, and growth-oriented working environment for our coaching team.
Position：Senior Swim Instructor
Job Type：
Part-time: 8–16 hours per week
Full-time: 30 -40hours per week
Work Location：
-Vancouver West / Richmond
**Candidates may be required to teach at both locations based on scheduling needs.
Compensation：
-CAD $29–$36 per hour
**Compensation will be determined based on trial lesson performance, teaching ability, professional background, and overall evaluation.

Responsibilities：
- Teach swimmers from beginner to advanced levels
- Coach students with competitive foundations or higher-level swimming ability
- Demonstrate all four competitive strokes accurately and confidently
- Analyze and correct stroke technique effectively
- Deliver structured and effective lessons based on each student’s level
- Communicate professionally with both students and parents
- Follow Aquaturbo’s teaching system and instructional standards
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed class environment
- Participate in team training, teaching reviews, and overall program development
Mandatory Requirements：
- Must hold a valid legal work permit with at least 1 year remaining
- Must be able to proficiently demonstrate all four competitive strokes
- Minimum 2 years of swim teaching experience, with the ability to coach high-level swimmers
- Fluent in English (lessons are taught approximately 70% in English and 30% in Chinese)
- Must hold valid CPR / First Aid certification
- Must hold a valid Swim Instructor Certification
- Must genuinely enjoy in-water teaching and working with children
- Must be passionate about long-term career development in swim coaching
- This position is intended for applicants seeking long-term growth; short-term applicants will not be considered
Preferred Qualifications：
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Former competitive swimmer
- Experience in both competitive swim club coaching and beginner swim instruction
- Strong class management, lesson pacing, and professional communication skills
