Our story began in the summer of 1994 when our founder taught 50 kids to swim in his parents’ backyard pool where Making Waves Swim School was born! It wasn’t a sophisticated business however, it gave us the freedom to focus on what mattered most – our student’s progress in the pool, connecting with families and giving back to our community.
Making Waves Swim School is proud to announce the opening of our 5th Swim School in Guelph! And we’re looking for energetic coaches to help us inspire positive change in children’s lives!
We may already be 29 years old, but there’s so much more to do and get involved in to help us make waves in Guelph!

You will
get to teach swimming lessons beside energetic, caring and talented people who are dedicated to the success and safety of every student!

Qualifications Required to Work:
Standard First Aid & CPR-CLifesaving Instructors or National Lifeguard Making Waves Coach Course (we train you!)If you do not currently have your First Aid or Instructors certifications, you can still apply! We can assist you on your journey towards full certifications! Ask us how!
We are looking for Full-Time ( 35 hrs per week) and Part-Time Instructors with a flexible schedule for daytime or evenings.
