Job Summary:
As a Kitchen Prep at Temakase, you will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients and supporting our chefs to create an exceptional dining experience. If you have a passion for sushi and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
– Prepare ingredients for hand rolls, cut rolls and other menu items
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Assist chefs with food preparation and plating
– Restock supplies and manage inventory
-Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
-Prior experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Good knife skills
– Attention to detail and quality control
– Team player with excellent communication skills
– Availability to work full time, including evenings and weekend
-Food Handler Certificate (preferred but not required)
