Position Overview:

The Supply Chain Specialist I is responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain operations. This involves coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory and vendor relationships to ensure efficient product flow from suppliers to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities, including generating purchase orders, negotiating pricing and terms, and approving transactions within P2P system.
  • Forecast material requirements for stocked and international items to support operational demand.
  • Coordinate domestic and international logistics to ensure on‑time delivery of goods.
  • Place orders on behalf of operations and provide guidance to ensure accurate and timely ordering of stock items.
  • Develop and implement inventory strategies to prevent over‑stocking while maintaining supply continuity.
  • Manage customs, duties, and trade compliance for materials, including site support as required.
  • Maintain Certificates of Origin and other trade documentation to support CUSMA qualification and regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve invoicing, shipping, and supply chain issues while preparing reports and analysis to support decision‑making.
  • Perform/complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, customs, or inventory management, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Proficient with procurement and inventory systems (Coupa or similar ERP platforms preferred).
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs including Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and system transactions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Professional, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems and processes as business needs evolve.
