Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or paper production environment.
  • Proven experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, sustainability practices, and safety standards in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt. (Preferred)
  • Traveling required up to 25%.

Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes at FCI. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and extensive experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be focused on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of products while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies and plans that align with company goals and support the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management to ensure optimal resource utilization.

Procurement & Supplier Management:

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely procurement of raw materials, including paper, chemicals, and other manufacturing inputs.
  • Establish reliable supply sources and manage the purchasing process to reduce costs and maintain product quality.

Logistics & Distribution:

  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials to the plant and finished goods to customers, optimizing transportation routes, warehouse management, and distribution strategies.
  • Ensure on-time deliveries while minimizing transportation costs.

Inventory Control & Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and reduce waste.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement best practices to streamline workflows.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment on supply chain objectives and priorities.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in line with the company’s commitment to sustainability.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Use data-driven insights to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times, on-time delivery rates, and cost efficiencies.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance and progress toward objectives.

Pay: $97,355.00 – $115,655.00 per year
