SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT (Learning Technology Department) Central Okanagan Public Schools (School District No. 23) is inviting applications from full time university or college students for summer employment.
Position Description :
Students are employed for the period Tuesday, July 2, to Friday, August 2, 2024 with the possibility of extension.
Within the Learning Technology Department performing a variety duties including:
Unpacking hardware Cart assembly Hardware removal and installation Hours of work are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The rate of pay is currently $23.12 per hour and will be $23.58 per hour effective July 1, 2024.
Qualifications:
Physically fit to perform labouring duties Valid BC driver’s license (Class 5 or
7) Applicants must provide evidence that they are currently in attendance at a secondary school, university or college on a full time basis (include the field of study) and will be re-enrolling in a full time post-secondary program in September 2024.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal record check and mandatory
safety training
