We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking students to join our team at Mom & Pops produce market for the summer season. We will be providing furnished accommodations for the stay. It is a good opportunity who would like to spend the summer in the Okanagan. The job is located in Keremeos, BC. Keremeos is a charming small town located in the southern Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. During the summer months, the town comes alive with a variety of outdoor activities and events. One of the main attractions of Keremeos in the summer is the abundance of fresh produce available from the many local orchards and farms. The town is known for its delicious peaches, cherries, apricots, and other fruits, which can be found at roadside stands and farmers markets throughout the area. Overall, Keremeos in the summer is a delightful destination for visitors looking for a relaxing small-town atmosphere and a chance to experience the bounty of the Okanagan Valley’s agriculture and outdoor activities. As a seasonal worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases
Operating the cash register and handling transactions
Restocking shelves and displays with fresh produce
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Providing excellent customer service and answering customer inquiries
Assisting with other duties as needed
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in college
Under the age of 30
PR of Canada / No work permits
Available to work 5 days a week
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Punctual and reliable
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
