Summer Production Workers Jobs in Lethbridge at Ability Resource Association
Ability Bottle Depots are recruiting Production Workers for full-time summer employment from May 1 to August 31, 2024
Ability Bottle Depots are operated by the Ability Resource Association and located at 1610-29 Street North and 2915-32 Street South. Ability Resource Association is a non-profit charitable organization with the mission of providing opportunities and supports for people with disabilities. This summer position could be based at either depot.
Responsibilities will include:
– Provide professional/courteous customer service
– Maintain physical ability and stamina to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility and accountability
– Perform positively in a team-based environment
– Remain productive throughout your shift
– Ability to multi-task
– Effective verbal communication skills
– Punctuality and reliability
– Process customer orders efficiently, following standardized procedures
– Accurately count/sort containers
– Operate cash register/Point of Return (POR) system
– Follow all Association Policies and Procedures
– Complete other tasks as required and instructed
Qualifications include:
– Ability to work shifts as scheduled, Monday through Saturday, 8:45 am – 5:15pm
– Be physically fit to stand for long periods, transfer and lift bins, etc.
– Must have or be able to provide a Police Information Check
– Ability to meet established accuracy and quality standards
– Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
