Make a difference this summer with Yukonstruct Society as an instructor for youth STEM programs designed for children aged 11 to 14. This part-time role begins on May 4th, 2026, focusing on hands-on Maker learning.

Ideal candidates aged 15-30 will inspire and instruct youth while fostering a safe and encouraging classroom atmosphere. We seek individuals who are organized, creative, and have an eagerness to engage in teaching STEM practices. Experience in fields like woodworking, laser cutting, or casting is beneficial, with training available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging hands-on STEM lessons

• Create a fun and safe learning space for students

• Establish positive interactions with participants and parents

• Keep the classroom environment clean and organized

• Collaborate effectively with fellow instructors

Requirements:

• Must be aged 15-30 with a passion for teaching

• Strong communication and planning skills

• Adaptable, organized, and creative mind

• Experience in 3D printing, sewing, or related crafts

• Clear vulnerable sector check required
