As a mentor, you will aid kindergarten to grade 12 students in exploring STEM through active participation. Preference is given to York University students, but all current or recent undergraduates are encouraged to apply. You’ll design activities, facilitate research projects, and provide vital mentorship to inspire young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement hands-on STEM activities
• Facilitate student STEM research projects
• Provide engaging mentorship to participants
• Understand and demonstrate instructions effectively
• Communicate information clearly and professionally
Requirements:
• Current or recent undergraduate student
• Experience working with youth
• Previous research lab experience is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
• Valid Social Insurance Number required
