Job Summary

Reporting to the Program Director, Neuropsychology & Cognitive Health, this position is responsible for providing clinical psychometry services under the supervision of a Clinical Neuropsychologist supporting the Sam and Ida Ross Memory Clinic. The student may attend rounds, seminars, and other learning opportunities in the Neuropsychology & Cognitive Health program and other Baycrest programs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administers standardized neuropsychological tests to clients with cognitive concerns and/or cognitive impairments
  • Scores responses on neuropsychological tests and looks up normative data
  • Documents behavioural observations from testing
  • Manages and organizes individual client charts
  • Maintains accurate records, safeguarding the confidentiality of clients
  • Fulfills other tasks as assigned by the Program Director and/or supervising Clinical Neuropsychologist


Qualifications

  • Completion or currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Health Sciences, or a related field
  • Completed coursework in neuropsychology and psychological testing is preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly motivated and open to learning
