About the job:
Ensure purchasing planning, calls for tenders, and evaluation of bids.
Follow and maintain the site’s sourcing processes and procedures.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and construction teams to develop tender documents and statements of work.
Ensure goods and services are acquired at the most economically advantageous price and meet quality, specification, and deadline requirements.
Ensure general conditions of agreements with communities are respected.
Promote and respect company values, health and safety standards, and environmental protocols.
Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
What you need:
College or university degree in business administration, finance, accounting, business law, sales, marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to the site is mandatory.
Experience in industrial environments or heavy industry; mining sector experience is an asset.
Awareness of cultural differences and experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Sourcing certification (SCMC, CSCP, CIPM, SCMP, or SCM) is an asset.
