We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee our retail operations the Long Lake General Store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, meeting sales targets, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of retail dynamics, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve their best.
Job Duties
– Lead and manage daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
– Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store goals.
– Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; conduct interviews for new hires.
– Maintain inventory levels, manage stock orders, and oversee product displays.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
– Analyze sales reports and market trends to make informed business decisions.
– Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications
– Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
– Proficient in sales techniques with the ability to negotiate prices successfully.
– Solid math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
– Experience in cashiering operations with attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual capabilities are a plus.
– Ability to interview candidates effectively and assess their fit for the team.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making abilities.
