Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Stone Fabricator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, and restoring stonework across a variety of projects, from historic restorations to modern hardscape designs. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and structural integrity. Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, natural and manufactured stones using hand tools and power tools such as chisels, grinders, and saws
- Execute hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stone elements with precision
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large stones or concrete components during complex installations
- Perform restoration work on existing masonry structures to preserve historical integrity or improve durability
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and tile laying techniques as required for comprehensive masonry projects
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, plasterers, and other trades to ensure seamless project completion
Experience
- Proven experience in masonry or stone work on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction estimating processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as chisels, hammers, trowels as well as power tools including saws and grinders
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks is a plus
- Experience working on renovation or restoration projects that require meticulous craftsmanship
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites involving masonry work
