Working as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity to build hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. In this role, you play a key part in keeping the store running smoothly by unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area and unload general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise
- Maintain cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing
- Assist with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provide customer service when needed
- Label and place overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management
- Follow Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard‑free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods, bend, and lift inventory weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail
