Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stock and Merchandise Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Manage inventory levels by accurately stocking shelves.
- Receive shipments through shipping & receiving processes and properly organize products for easy access and restocking.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy, identify discrepancies, and perform inventory control tasks to prevent loss or overstocking.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves, ensuring proper signage, pricing, and product placement to maximize sales.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning shelves, packing products for shipment or display, and ensuring the store’s overall cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries about product locations, stock availability, or store layout; communicate effectively with team members across departments.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to manage inventory accurately.
- Physical stamina for lifting, load & unload activities, and standing for extended periods throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of retail math principles related to stock levels, pricing accuracy, and sales transactions.
