About us
Traverse City Products is a small business located in Traverse City, MI. We have been manufacturing custom roll formed and stamped metal products since 1982. Our 60,000 sq ft. facility allows us a unique opportunity to provide various manufacturing capabilities which include roll forming, stamping, welding, and various other assembly processes. Many of our customers see us as a “one-stop-shop” for their structural and decorative metal needs.
**Monday-Thursday, Day Shift 6 am – 4:30 pm**
Requirements:
- Visual acuity sufficient to perform the required job functions.
- High school diploma or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of progressive dies.
- Working knowledge of general machinery.
- Use of basic inspection tools.
- Crane Operators License.
- Completion of authorized Lock out Tag Out Training.
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the organization.

- Understanding of IATF requirements as they apply to this area of responsibility.
Work Environment: Job is performed in a shop environment. Long periods of standing will be required on a hard concrete floor. The temperature varies depending on the season. The noise level in the Shop exceeds 85 decibels and hearing protection is mandatory and provided. Steel is very sharp and great caution must be exercised to avoid injury. Protective gloves are provided for this purpose. The environment is often oily.
Physical Requirements: Must have good hand/eye coordination in order to complete quality checks. Person must be able to stand for extended periods of time. This position regularly requires the ability to walk, reach, bend, and stand repetitively. It may be necessary to lift up to fifty pounds.
