The ideal candidate will have experience with personal and corporate tax filings as well as experience working on complex tax compilations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customers
- Personal tax filings; experience with investment income
- Corporate tax filings; public, private and owner-managed business
- Tax filings and complex tax planning
- Prepare financial statements and NTR
- Problem-solving and answering client inquiries
- Support the rest of the firm
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience within a public accounting firm
- Sound knowledge is the tax filing process
- Must have experience with 2-3+ tax seasons in Canada.
- CPA designation or final stages required
- Client-service acumen, with strong communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
