Reporting directly to Director, Materials Management, Logistics & Warehousing (MMLW), this is a senior specialist role that will directly support and lead key strategic initiatives within the MMLW function. The role will support work across multiple geographies (Canada, US, and Mexico) and multiple BUs (Gas, Liquids, Power & Energy Solutions). This role is responsible for providing advanced
leadership
and partnership across the enterprise, developing, and executing key strategic work, and delivering results that positively impact TCE’s various BU organizations and their stakeholders.
This Senior Specialist role must build strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives, and employees across the company to secure organizational commitment for key supply chain strategies. The successful candidate must possess expert knowledge and the ability and to drive discipline in execution across the organization. Leading candidate must possess the ability to work with ambiguity and drive change while simultaneously inspiring and influencing impacted stakeholders.
What You’ll Do Develop and lead the review and re-baselining of TCE’s warehousing infrastructure support. This includes the development of strategies to address the long-term requirements of BU warehousing support across TCE’s footprint and at TCE’s existing warehouses in Canada and the USSupport development of warehousing strategies in areas of long-term growth and investment.
E.g., CGL phase 2 warehousing support requirements
Lead development and implementation of strategy for warehousing services in support of TCE’s Mexico Business Unit Act as business lead and team representative leading project team and working with BU stakeholders to coordinate Supply Chain Where’s My Stuff Material Tracking capability improvements (IS technology project)
Support development of Supply Chain Inventory Control Policy working with multiple internal stakeholder and external parties
Identify opportunities to gain business and executive commitment through the development of effective relationships and strong business cases
Engage and influence various stakeholders and leaders throughout the organization, including BU leaders, operations, project, commercial and facilities teams
Collaborate and influence others in open dialogue and adapt own influence approach to different stakeholders in ways that address their interests or concerns
