Our client is looking for a Sr. Power Bi (DAX) expert to support a Financial client with data modelling and dashboards
Must Have’s:
DAX Expertise Query Folding experience
10+ years of experience with SQL language8+ years of
hands-on experience
using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack:
Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS, SQLExpertise in performance tuning and
optimization
of Power BIreports and SQL queries
Nice to Have’s:
Data Architecture experience
Knowledge of DAX, M, Power Shell, and T-SQL, Python and or RA bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics or a relevant field
Microsoft Data and/or BI certifications are a strong asset
Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards –understanding business requirements, designing the data models and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights
Strong understanding of the capabilities of Power BIAbility to understand data analysis and visualization principles
Able to
quickly provide both MDX and DAX solutions
Understanding of the ETL process
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis that can help in decision-making.
Trouble shooting and optimizing Power BI solutions.
Ability to
collaborate effectively across internal and external partners to further capitalize on data assets.
Have a passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest features, updates and practices to leverage Power Bi effectively.
