Join our dynamic team as a Sr. Fire Alarm and Burglar Technician, where you will play a vital role in servicing, installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm and burglar systems across diverse commercial and industrial environments. Duties
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and system design documents to accurately install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
- Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), local codes, and safety standards during system installation.
- Install, test, and service fire alarm panels, sensors, detectors, and low voltage wiring using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct field service visits for maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on existing fire alarm infrastructure.
- Collaborate with customers for design expectations.
- Provide expert guidance on system design modifications and assist in alarm system sales by demonstrating technical solutions to clients.
Preferences
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of programming and setup for NAPCO, Bosch, Silent Knight systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, sensors, alarms, and electrical systems compliant with NEC standards.
- Experience with construction inspection processes ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.

Pay: $20.00 – $32.00 per hour
