About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular part-time
Specialist
– Cord Blood Collection to join our dynamic Stem Cells team in AB-Edmonton-Lois Hole Hospital
.
The Stem Cells team is responsible for collecting umbilical ex-utero cord and maternal blood samples, and ensure promotion, development and maintenance of an environment of continuous quality improvement, in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards and customer satisfaction. The Collection Specialist will be responsible for collections. In addition, they will be responsible for promoting and maintaining public awareness/promotion and education as well as maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Monday to Friday including holidays; 37.5 hours bi-weekly (2 shifts one week, 3 shifts the next)
