Sorter – Casual Jobs in Lloydminster at Bea Fisher
Are you looking to learn or implement great customer service skills? Are you looking for a job with daytime working hours rather than evenings?
Our Bottle Depot is currently hiring Casual Sorters to primarily work on Saturdays from 8:00am – 4:00pm with additional hours throughout the week during the busy warm weather.
Primary duties include sorting and counting refundable beverage containers from customers in a timely and organized manner. As well as keeping your station clean, ensuring containers are acceptable with no contaminants, maintaining equipment, and completing tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Clear Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector required
- High School Diploma preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Accuracy counting and sorting containers based on type
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities considered an asset.

1. Ability to accurately count and distinguish between the different containers.
2. Ability to maintain pleasant and friendly customer service.
3. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
4. Ability to effectively manage own workload and time.
5. Ability to cope effectively under stressful situations, i.e. influx of customers.
6. Ability to work/operate in a safe manner, maintain Occupational Health & Safety expectations and wear necessary protective clothing ie. gloves, apron, steel-toed shows, etc.
7. Reliable and willing to learn.
