**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Freight Sorter/Clerical Data Entry Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and sorting freight efficiently to different lines for the final mile delivery. This position is an afternoon shift, Monday thru Friday 12pm to 6pm.
**Duties:**
– Sort and categorize items based on predetermined criteria
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sorting area
– Use computer and scanner to track and forward freight
– Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations both verbally and written
– Utilize organizational skills to streamline sorting processes
**Experience:**
– Ability to communicate effectively with team members
– Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient work environment
– Knowledge of the Fort McMurray and surrounding areas would be considered an asset
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Able to lift, carry, push, pull 70lbs
– Experience with forklift operation is beneficial
