Since 1977, Downs Barristers & Solicitors, a leading London, Ontario law firm, has delivered exceptional legal services. We seek a driven lawyer (3-6 years post-admission private practice) to lead and expand our fast-paced real estate, corporate, and succession law practice.
The Role
You will:
· Oversee and grow a high-volume practice handling real estate transactions (purchases, sales, mortgages), wills, powers of attorney, estate administration, and corporate matters (asset/share purchases).
· Lead with confidence, supported by an efficient team and senior counsel as needed.
Deliver precise, client-focused results under tight deadlines.
The Candidate
You are:
· A proactive self-starter, able to work independently with minimal oversight.
· Skilled in interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
· Detail-oriented, diligent, and adept at managing teams in a high-pressure environment.
