Overview:
Join our team as a Solar Installer and be part of the renewable energy revolution. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems.
Duties:
– Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following engineering specifications
– Assemble solar modules, panels, or support structures as per design plans
– Perform electrical wiring connections to ensure systems are properly powered
– Test system functionality and troubleshoot any issues
– Assist in the operation of heavy equipment such as bucket trucks and backhoes for installation purposes
– Utilize hand tools for various installation tasks
– Rig and dig for proper placement of solar panel systems
Qualifications:
– Experience with welding and low voltage systems preferred
– Mechanical knowledge for assembly and installation tasks
– Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including bucket trucks and backhoes
– Ability to use hand tools effectively for installation work
– Familiarity with rigging and digging processes for solar panel placement
