Job Summary
The Soft Count Clerk works within a small team is responsible for collecting, sorting and counting of all paper money and ticket redemptions accumulated from slot machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be teamwork oriented to ensure the smooth operation of department and daily tasks
- Work directly with Surveillance and Security to ensure the protection of Sand Hills Casino slot revenue
- Responsible for emptying monies from slot machines
- Empty’s canister, sorts money, counts money using equipment and bundles money
- Tallies daily totals of money and ticket voucher from slot machines
- Uses sorting and counting machines
- Manages time and speed accordingly to meet all deadlines and timelines
- Cleans cash machines and equipment in support of preventative maintenance
- Practices Health & Safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as necessary
Physical Requirements
Physically you need to be able to bend, lift, push, move and operate equipment on a day to day basis.
The incumbent must obtain and maintain approval from the Liquor Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.40 per hour
