Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Hush Blankets. As Social Media Coordinator, you will capture all the fun within the office, create engaging content to expand brand awareness, track our social media performance and make educated decisions, while collaborating with all team members.
Our ideal candidate is a creative and outgoing person, comfortable with social media platform as well as being on camera. If you have a portfolio, don’t hesitate to share it!
Responsibilities:
In this role you will:Organic Content Management:
Shoot organic content across social media platforms
Edit organic content to be readily up-to-par for posting on platform
Create captions and copy to be associated with each post
Coordinate and schedule daily content to release across platforms
Keep an eye on baseline analytics across platforms (link clicks, views, comments, shares, etc)
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends across the social networks and implement them into the content strategy
Update and monitor links in bio on social handles to align with either specific sales or collaborations.
Individuals Organic Management:
Craft both the content that goes out on their handles as well as handling responses to comments that those posts garner
Assist in reporting on how specific posts are doing in terms of engagement, and escalate any comments or discussions stirring from those posts that need to be dealt with
Post, when needed, on behalf of some of Hush leadership team members personal social media accounts to keep their following engaged and up-to-date with the Hush latest news
Community Feedback Management:
Scan comments across platform posts and responding in kind manner
Respond to DMs and inquiries across our platforms to enhance customer experience
Manage Hush VIP Facebook group, report any issues or discussions going on and comment to group members
Qualifications
The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
University degree in Marketing, Communication or any related field
1-2 years’ experience in social media marketing or content development
1-2 years’ experience in content publication
Proficiency with video and photo editing tools such as Canva, Capcut…
Strong copywriting, copy-editing and communication skills
Detail-oriented approach with ability to meet deadlines
Understand social media KPIs
Be up to date on trends in the digital content and social media space
Creative and think out of the box
Work well with a team
Need to be comfortable on camera is required
