Smart Home Automation Technician
Requirements:
Installation and programming of home automation systems, including custom control systems and audio and video switching.
Building and programming neatly organized AV racks with ease of future service in mind.
Installation of complex WIFI systems including wiring.
Installation and programming of camera systems.
Perform service work on existing systems.
Take lead role in Rough-In Wiring of New Construction and Retrofit Projects.
Wiring Trim-Out & Termination of head-end system components.
Final Installation of Audio/Video and Control systems,Alarm Security Systems, Security Access Systems and Cameras, TVs, projectors, low-voltage lighting and shades.
In-Shop and On-Site rack building and testing.
Complete regular site visit reports on our cloud-based
project management
system (daily documentation of our workflow is vitally important to our process – if you do not like doing ‘paperwork’, please do not apply).
Update internal documentation as necessary (i.e. as-built floor plans)
All installation and service must meet the highest quality standards set forth by Solutions A/V, while assuring a professional and safe working environment
Skills:
Experience with
home automation systems (e.g., Control4,Savant,Lutron,Sonance,Anthem,Paradigm,Netgear,Arakins).
Knowledge of Audio/Video systems and how they are typically connected.
Networking expertise, especially related to Audio/Video systems and Wi-Fi networks.
Ability to
work with and explain complex systems to clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$43.00 per hour
