Job Overview
Monarch is seeking a skilled construction laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent and Foreman with onsite maintenance and cleanup at residential construction sites, while also providing building maintenance services as needed at job sites and company office locations.

This individual will take pride in being a “jack of all trades” who can step in and contribute wherever needed. This position reports directly to the company Foreman.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Resolves problems when they arise.
  • Willingness to pitch in as needed.
  • Dependable and punctual, with a sense of urgency when required.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness by applying construction knowledge and a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Operates and maintains construction equipment and machinery safely and responsibly.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the construction industry and our family-run company.
  • Cleans and prepares construction sites, ensuring they remain safe and organized.
  • Loads and unloads construction materials.
  • Assists equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled trades as needed.
  • Assists with building maintenance, including landscaping duties as required.
  • Provides support to the Superintendent and Foreman.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company safety protocols and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year of construction experience (residential experience preferred).
  • Experience using tools common to construction, home maintenance, and landscaping trades.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to tow and back up a dump trailer with confidence.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Dependable, honest, and hardworking character.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extended periods of standing, lifting, climbing, walking, and other labor-intensive tasks.

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
