Description Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow all company safety practices, policies, and procedures
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials and waste
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Work under and learn from experienced tradespeople and supervisors
- Assist carpenters and cooling tower technicians
- Lead and maintain housekeeping on job sites
- Take direction well and work independently when required
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and weekly safety meetings
- Understand and work with construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing
- Must be able to work at heights
- Strong commitment to safety
- Team-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
- Strong problem‑solving and task‑prioritization abilities
- Ability to perform daily physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able and willing to travel and remain out of town for extended periods
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
