We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team in Vancouver.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Oversee the cladding division on commercial projects, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of work.
– Minimum 5 years of experience as a foreman on commercial projects or proven experience as a superintendent for architectural sheet metal.
– Possess a trade qualification relevant to the cladding industry.
– Extensive experience with various cladding materials such as ACM, porcelain, natural stone, standing seam, fibre cement, etc.
– Competent understanding of building codes and ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
– Highly organized and proactive in managing project timelines and resources effectively.
– Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and direct supervisors.
– Provide training and mentorship to workers, fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.
– Ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct regular field measurements to verify accuracy.
– Enforce company safety standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all personnel.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
– Trade qualification/certification in a relevant field.
– Strong knowledge and experience with various cladding materials and techniques.
– Proficiency in interpreting building codes and blueprints.
– Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
