Site Labourer Jobs in Fort McMurray at Inner City Diesel
Inner City Diesel Ltd. (ICD) is excited to announce we are seeking an experienced Labourer to support the growing needs of our team on site!
This position is in located on a remote site with an attractive fourteen (14) day rotation, working twelve (12) hour day shifts. This is a camp position that is fly in/fly out from Calgary or Edmonton Hub. If you are local to Fort McMurray, you are still required to stay in camp the full 14 day rotation.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment through general cleanup such as sweeping, dusting, washing, shoveling, etc.
- Operate pressure washer in a safe and efficient manner.
- Drive in a winter setting and work in all weather conditions.
- Assist mechanics and other workers with maintenance and light repairs.
- Safe operation of company vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, loaders, and towing trailers
- Managing inventory, completing yard count, and pick up and drop off of parts
- Undertake other duties or complete emergency tasks as requested.
- Communicating with crews to coordinate work and provide updates.
- Report and refuse unsafe work and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Complete near miss reports and hazard IDs.
- Report all incidents and hazards to the site superintendent.
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested by site superintendent.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating forklifts, skid steers, loaders, and/or towing trailers
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs safely as required by the job.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience with parts receiving and organization
- Familiar with Hotsy or similar pressure washing machinery

Successful candidates must have following prior to confirmation of their start date:
- Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
- Copy of valid Class 5 (or greater) driver’s license
- Copy of current 3-year clean driver’s abstract
- Copies of safety and training certificates
All employees must participate in, promote, and contribute to ICD’s Safety-First culture. This includes, but is not limited to, following Safe Work practices and procedures, attending safety meetings and toolbox talks, understanding and navigating our digital safety application (SiteDocs), completing FLRA’s, using PPE, inspection of vehicles, tools, and equipment, and more.
