* Site Coordinator

* to

join our team

based in

* Delta, B.C. on a full-time basis.

* The successful candidate will be working on sites throughout the lower mainland.

As one of our Site Coordinators, you’ll work to ensure that our client’s projects are built to the highest quality standards and are completed both on time and within budget. This role will see you assisting our superintendents and skilled trades persons with various commercial and light industrial construction responsibilities, with an emphasis on safety and performing First Aid requirements.

Some of your key responsibilities within this role will include:

* Assisting site supervision while conducting general site duties, as required

* Organizing and maintaining the job site standard of cleanliness, including lay down areas, tool cribs, and the site office

* Coordinating deliveries, off load goods, and managing lay-down and storage areas

* Maintaining tools on site, tagging “out of use” tools and requesting new ones

* Assisting the Carpenter Foreman in various material organization and deliveries

* Actively promoting health and

safety awareness

* Populating necessary daily, weekly and monthly safety paperwork including safety inspections, tool box talks, orientations, and other misc. required items

* Performing necessary safety work, i.e. guard rails, flagging off work zones, etc.

* Contributing to the

team environment

on job sites through

collaboration

and

communication

* Conducting incident investigation

* Liaising with Work Safe BC and other regulatory authorities to promote safety on the job site

* Providing first aid assessment and treatment for workers, as required, while managing and maintaining accurate records and paperwork

* More About You

* In order to qualify for this role, you’ll need

* 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial and industrial construction sites, along with an OFA Level 2 certification and general safety knowledge.

* You are familiar with building construction processes and are able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
