Anchor Sign is hiring Sign Installer Techs and will travel to the surrounding states. Sign Installer Techs work at client job sites all over the country. They report to the office or installation hub nearest them, and then go out on the road for extended periods.
Pay starts at $15 and up DOE, Must be willing to travel overnight/out of town for 5 to 12 days at a time
$40/day meal money when traveling out of town
General Description:
- Responsible for assisting Sign Installer Crew Leaders with installing signs, awnings, banners and other related products for our national clients at the specific job site.
- Performing maintenance and repairs to existing signs, awnings, banners and other related products for our national clients at the specific job site.
- Drives Company vehicles (Trucks and trailers) to remote job sites.
- Utilizes hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment to perform assembly/installation operations.
Specific Requirements:
Including but not limited to:
- Interacting with clients, customers, contractors, land lords and the general public on a regular basis while working at job sites.
- Transporting signs, awnings, banners and other related products to the job site by driving a Company vehicle to and from the job site.
- Driving Company vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner – at all times, regardless of the reason or the length of time – as required by government and Company regulations.
- Attaching signs, awnings, banners and other related products to surfaces including, but not limited to: façades, walls, pylons, monument bases, and rooftops.
- Working at heights – up to, approximately, eighty feet (80’) (Or higher) through the use of ladders, extending, truck-mounted booms and other lifts.
- Utilizing a variety of attachment methods, hardware and tools to properly secure signs, awnings, banners, etc. to surfaces.
- Performing basic wiring attachments and hook ups to ensure proper electrical connectivity.
- Testing illuminated signs, awnings, etc. to ensure that they are operating properly and within acceptable guidelines.
- Assembling various sign components, as needed.
- Attaching pre-cut channel letters to raceways, walls, façades, etc. as needed.
- Installing supports, mountings, brackets or braces, as needed, to ensure that the signs and awnings are installed in a safe and proper manner.
- Using various measuring tools (I.e. rulers and/or tape measures) to ensure that each sign component is installed in the proper and correct manner and location.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
